What Bath Products Are Cruelty Free?

Cruelty-free bath products are those that have not been tested on animals. Many companies that produce bath and body products use alternative testing methods, such as in vitro testing or computer simulation, to ensure their products are safe for human use.

There are a few certifying bodies that provide cruelty-free certification to companies. Some of them are:

  • Leaping Bunny, an international program that certifies companies as cruelty-free
  • PETA's Beauty Without Bunnies, which certifies companies that do not test on animals
  • Choose Cruelty-Free, an Australian organization that certifies companies that do not test on animals.

Companies that are cruelty-free will usually display a cruelty-free logo on their packaging or on their website. You can also check their website or contact them directly to inquire about their animal testing policy.

Additionally, you can look for products that are certified vegan which means they do not contain any animal-derived ingredients and also they are not tested on animals.

It's important to note that even companies that are cruelty-free may use ingredients that are derived from animals, so it's also important to look for products that are vegan if you want to avoid animal-derived ingredients.
